This week Ku Arts brings the Strong Arts Program to Coober Pedy
The four-day professional and creative development program offers Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander artists and cultural leaders who work independently in South Australian Communities, the chance to learn more about artists’ rights, opportunities, and how to navigate the art world.
Over four days artists will hear from Industry professionals from Ku Arts, Copyright Agency, Indigenous Art Code and Arts Law and will have the opportunity to attend one on one consultations and participate in ceramics creative development workshops.
The event is free and will be delivered at the Coober Pedy TAFE from Tuesday the 8th through to Friday the 11th of November.
A Yankunytjatjara-speaking interpreter will be present and available for one-on-one consultations on Wednesday.
