Vaccination is available for EVERY person over 5 years of age at the Umoona Tjutagku Health Service Clinic. Bookings must be made for children via 8672-5255. Otherwise, just drop in between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Testing information

Due to the current outbreak in Coober Pedy, a mobile testing site will be set up at the RSL in Hutchison St for everybody to get tested from Thursday the 24th to Saturday the 26th of February between 2pm and 6pm.

An outline of covid-19 symptoms, why you would need to get a PCR test, and how to go about it. Please call the Community Health Centre on 8672-5376 for a testing appointment.

Testing is also available for Indigenous Australians at Umoona Tjutagku Health Service. You can just drop down to the clinic, or give them a call on 8672-5255.

Rapid Antigen Tests – RATS – are now available to everyone in and around Coober Pedy, free of charge.
